School dinners are provided by Metrofresh, and all children in Reception and KS1 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. The current cost of school dinners for KS2 children is £11.50 (£2.30 per day). School dinners must be paid for in advance on ParentPay either on a weekly, monthly or termly basis.
A healthy packed lunch may be brought into school; this must be in a container / lunch bag clearly marked with your child’s name. Please note that children are not allowed to bring bottles, cans or thermos flasks containing hot liquids in to school. Please also be aware that we do have children in school with severe nut / sesame seed allergies, and we therefore feel it is necessary that products containing nuts or sesame seeds should not be brought into school.
If you feel you may qualify for free school meals, then please visit https://wigan.gov.uk/Resident/Benefit-Grants/Free-school-meals.aspx to apply.
