At Wood Fold Primary School, we value the importance of developing strong links between the school and our community. Through visits, assemblies and special events, we involve our pupils in the local community, so that they learn how to participate in a practical way in the life and concerns of their neighbourhood.
Working with parents, local residents, the business community, public services, and voluntary services teaches the children to become active citizens. At Wood Fold, we believe that community links are essential in the growth, development and wellbeing of all our pupils. These links with our local community help us to build relationships with groups and individuals who will provide positive role models for our children.
