Prospective Parents

Fledglings is a pre-school nursery with the main intake being in September (for children who are already 3), at the start of the new academic year.  Places are firstly allocated to those who will have siblings attending Wood Fold Primary School in the September, and then on the date order the original 'Expression of Interest' form was completed.  The minumum number of sessions required for your child to attend is four (a morning or afternoon counts as one session, a full day is two). 

Opening hours – 9.00 am to 3.00 pm every day term time.  The charge for hours over any entitlement is £5.10* per hour, so for example if your child attended for 3 full days (18 hours) and you were only entitled to 15 hours free childcare, then a weekly charge of £15.30 would apply.  Early Birds and Night Owls wrap around care is also available from 7.30 am to 9.00 am, and from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm (pm 1), and 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm (pm 2).  You are able to use your childcare hours for Early Birds and Night Owls, providing you have hours available, otherwise the charge is £5.10* per morning and pm 1 session, and £4.10* per pm 2 session payable monthly on ParentPay.
