Happy New Year!
We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and found some time to relax in the midst of all the Christmas chaos!
We’ve had a fantastic start to the new term!
As soon as we returned to school, we jumped straight back into our learning with enthusiasm and determination. In maths, we have been working incredibly hard to master multiplying by two-digit numbers. This has taken a lot of resilience and perseverance, but thanks to everyone’s focus and effort, we are now feeling confident with this challenging skill.
In computing, we’ve been busy finishing and editing our Newsround-style reports, applying all the planning and filming techniques we learned last term.
We began reading our new class novel in English this week 'Viking Boy' by Tony Bradman. We made predictions about what we think will happen to the main character 'Gunnar' and are really looking forward to finding out what happens as the atory unfolds.
It's been a brilliant first week back, enjoy your weekend!
