We have had a fantastic first week back and have made a super start to year 5.

We have really got stuck into our geography fieldwork task this week to answer the question 'where is the best place to put solar panels around school?' We used Micro:Bits to collect data showing the amount of sunshine different places around school received  we then used this data to write a persuasive paragraph encouraging Mrs Gough to buy solar panels for school  

in English, we have started to read our class novel 'Beowulf' by Michael Morpurgo, we have used information from the text to build up an idea of the setting and the main characters Beowulf and Grendel  we can't wait to read what happens next.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our Meet the Teacher evening next week on Tuesday 9th September at 6pm.
