We have had a fantastic jam packed week this week.

we have rounded off our geography unit researching how climate change affects the Polar Regions and the oceans, writing an explanation text for our enquiry question. We were quite shocked to find out that the Polar ice caps have melted more in the last 20 years than in the last ten thousand years!

In English we finished our novel 'The Last Bear', which had such an emotional ending! We then worked in small groups to plan a storyboard and script to produce our own news reports reporting on the events of the story of April and Bear. We will start recording our videos and editing them during the first week back.

On Tuesday night, we celebrated our 'Groovin' Nativity' at St Wilfred's Church. The children were amazing and sang beautifully.

We ended the week with party day with Christmas lunch, party games and a visit to see Father Christmas and Film and chill day on Friday.

Mrs Prest and I would like to thank everyone for the lovely gifts , it is very kind of you all.

we hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year - wishing you all the best and we will see you all in January 🥰
