It was wonderful to see the children enjoying their transition into Year 4 on Tuesday & Wednesday this week! As well as our school disco on Tuesday night!
On Wednesday, we were lucky enough to have representatives from our chosen charity 'Daffodil Dreams' as part of our community project in Personal Development. Here are the kind works they said after their visit:
'A Special Morning at Woodfold Primary School
Noreen and I were honoured to be invited into Woodfold Primary School in Standish today, where the amazing Year 3 pupils have chosen Daffodils Dreams as their charity of the year.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with enthusiasm, curiosity, and genuine compassion. Noreen delivered a beautifully tailored presentation in "child speak" that had every child engaged. Hands were flying up with thoughtful questions like:
"Where does the name Daffodils Dreams come from?"
"Is it just the two of you running it? If so, you're doing an amazing job!"
"I'd like to help you raise more money to help children."
Their kindness and empathy really touched our hearts. It was a joy to spend time with such caring young people who truly wanted to understand how they could make a difference.
Noreen was in her element-her passion, love, and natural gift for connecting with children of all ages shone brightly. She has an incredible ability to talk with children, not at them, always meeting them at their level with genuine understanding.
A huge thank you to the staff and pupils at Woodfold Primary for your warm welcome and for choosing to support our mission.
We're so excited to see where this journey together takes 💛'
Next week Year 3 will be hosting a raffle to raise money for Daffodil Dreams, any donations for our raffle would be greatly appreciated! Please find our poster attached!
