We have had a brilliant first week back in Year 3 and it has been wonderful to see everyone settle into their new classroom routines so quickly.

 

In Geography, we completed some exciting fieldwork around the school grounds. We investigated whether different areas of the school receive different amounts of rainfall and worked carefully to collect and record our data. We are looking forward to analysing our results.

 

In English, we started our new class book, The Abominables by Eva Ibbotson. We have already met some of the main characters and have been swept up in the exciting story. We can't wait to find out what happens next!

 

In Maths, we have been working hard on partitioning numbers and using number lines to support our understanding. The children have shown great determination and enthusiasm when tackling their learning.

 

I have been really impressed with the fantastic start the children have made to the new school year. Their positive attitudes, excellent behaviour and eagerness to learn have been wonderful to see.

 

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead filled with learning, discovery and fun! ⭐📚🎉
