Another super busy week completed in Y1P!
Rector Andrew came into school on Tuesday to tell us about how he talks to God. He shared ways that he prays and also told us about how God listens and helps him. We listened really carefully to what Rector Andrew had to say. He answered some questions that we had written.
In Music over the last couple of weeks we have been exploring writing our own rhythms and have learned about pitch. We played high and low notes on the glockenspiels. We have clapped the rhythms we have written and then played them on 'c' on the glockenspiels. We chose if we wanted to play our rhythms on a high or low 'c'.

We are excited about our upcoming school trip to Imagine That! on Wednesday 22nd October. The children will participate in a variety of fun and creative workshops. One of these workshops will involve working with slime.
To help protect the children’s school uniforms during this activity, we kindly ask that you send your child to school wearing an old T-shirt under their cardigans/jumpers on the day of the trip. This will help keep their clothes clean and allow them to fully enjoy the experience without damaging their uniform.

We had another great session down in Forest School, the children have loved building dens!
Homework this week is in Homework books, it is Sounds Write activites focusing on the /oe/ sound.
