This week we have been learning about the different parts of plants and the children did a fantastic job of drawing and labelling their own plant pictures. We planted cress seeds and the children have been fascinated to watch them begin to change and grow.

We watched the animation ‘The Poddington Peas’ in drawing club and the children enjoyed designing their own vegetables and thinking of ways to punish creepy and black-eyed pea.

In Maths, we started to learn about 3D shapes. We have investigated the properties of different shapes, including whether they can roll and what 2D shapes are within them.

We have been busy rehearsing for our Mother’s Day assembly and the children have been looking forward to performing to an audience – we hope you enjoyed it and are as proud as we are.
