It has been wonderful to see the children return after the Christmas break, full of stories, excitement, and plenty of energy for the new term. 

In math's this week, we have continued to learn about numbers to 5. The children have had lots of fun singing rhymes and did a great job at representing numbers on their five's frames.

In the drawing club, this week we read the story 'Supertato' by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. The children were captivated by the mischievous Evil Pea and loved creating their own heroic adventures for the vegetables. 

We have also started our new topic Superhero's. We have discussed what foods make up a balanced diet as the children will be making a healthy snack for a Superhero and have tried some tasty dips and dippers.
