This week we have continued talking about our families and the children enjoyed talking about the different members of their own family. We focused on our grandparents and discussed that our grandparents are our parents’ parents!

In Drawing Club we read ‘The Everywhere Bear’ by Julia Donaldson and the children are excited to be taking  their own class dinosaur, Tim-Rex,  home. Someone will be randomly selected every Friday, and we look forward to seeing what they get up on Tapestry.

In Maths we have been matching and sorting. We have identified matching sets and have sorted buttons  in different ways.

We have introduced the sounds /n/, /o/ and /p/ which we have used to build and read words.

Mrs Johns discussed celebrations in RE this afternoon and the children had lots of fun making decorations for our home corner.
