What a fantastic first day!

After arriving safely and settling into our accommodation, the children have thrown themselves into the first few activities of our residential and have had a brilliant start to the trip.

This afternoon, the children took on their first challenges, showing great enthusiasm, determination and plenty of courage. It has been wonderful to see them encouraging one another, celebrating each other’s successes and stepping outside their comfort zones.

This evening, we took part in Passport to the World, where the children worked together to complete a variety of fun challenges and learn about different countries and cultures from around the world. There was lots of teamwork, problem-solving and laughter along the way.

The children have represented Wood Fold exceptionally well today and should be proud of how they have settled into residential life so quickly. We're looking forward to a busy day of activities tomorrow.

Hopefully everyone gets a good night’s sleep - although there has been plenty of excitement in the air!
