What an amazing week we’ve had! We have now completed our geography unit, where we explored the big enquiry question: How has climate change impacted the polar regions and the oceans? This led to some fantastic discussions about melting ice caps, rising sea levels, and the importance of protecting our planet. To bring this learning to life, we read the emotional ending of The Last Bear—a story that really touched us all. It inspired us to think deeply about the effects of climate change and how we can make a difference.

Building on this, we became news reporters for the day! Using our knowledge and creativity, we planned and designed our own Newsround-style reports. We created detailed storyboards and then have filmed our very own news segments—everyone worked brilliantly as a team, and we can't wait to edit them altogether in the new year.

Alongside all this learning, we’ve had plenty of festive fun. We loved watching the pantomime, which was full of laughter and excitement, and our Christmas party was a real highlight of the week. Our wind-down day gave us time to relax and enjoy games and activities together before the holidays.

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and special memories. Thank you for your support this term—we can’t wait to see you in the New Year when we return on Tuesday, 6th January. Merry Christmas from all of us!
