This week, we’ve really enjoyed getting stuck into our new English book, Viking Boy. The story has already sparked lots of excitement in class, especially as we’ve begun planning a flashback for the main character, Gunnar. We can’t wait to write our final pieces next week!

In PE, we recapped our bench ball skills and also learned some new gymnastics techniques, which everyone loved giving a go.

In Computing, we explored how systems operate all over the world and investigated the system that helps us receive parcels from locker collections.

In Spanish, we remembered how to say a range of different sports and practised expressing whether we like or dislike them.

In Maths, we continued with some tricky learning and worked on the bus stop method for division.

We also travelled back in time in History to learn about where the Vikings came from.

In RE, we began our new topic on Hinduism and discovered the story of Krishna.

Finally, in DT we examined cam toys, learned how cam mechanisms work, and identified all the correct names of the different parts that help them move. It’s been a busy and exciting week of learning!
