We've had an amazing week in Year 3!

In Maths, we have continue our unit on time and focused on duration. 

In English, we have started our new class text 'The Highland Falcon Thief'. The children have loved reading the first 6 chapters and predicting who the little girl on the train is and what she is going to do next. 

In History, we have finished our unit on the Ancient Egyptians and looked at the process of mummification in preparation for our trip to Bolton Museum. 

On Friday, we had our trip to Bolton Museum and it was excellent! All the children really enjoyed looking round the different exhibitions and learning more about the Ancient Egyptians. We even found some arcade games in the library! Mr Carr especially loved this part!
