Hi everyone,

We’ve had a brilliant final week of the Spring term in Year 6, packed with hard work and a bit of fun to round things off before the break.

SATs Practice:
We’ve been doing SATs practice papers this week and we’re so proud of how well the children have approached the challenge. Their hard work and focus is really paying off - well done to all of them for giving it their all!

Wonder Dome – Space Exploration:
One of the highlights of the week was a visit from the Wonder Dome, a travelling planetarium that brought the wonders of space right into our school hall! Inside the dome, we explored the solar system, learned about our Solar System, planets, constellations and how astronauts survive in space. It was an amazing immersive experience that had everyone completely captivated. We're all excited by the Artemis Space Programme and can't wait to see if people manage to make it back to the Moon in the next few years!

Spanish:
In Spanish, we’ve been learning how to talk about our likes and dislikes when it comes to food. The children have enjoyed practicing their new vocabulary and telling each toher what their favourite foods are.

PE:
In PE, we’ve continued with our football skills and also enjoyed a range of fun, active games to celebrate the end of term. A great way to finish the week with big smiles!
