Junior Park Run

Don’t forget to sign up for the junior park run, which is starting this Sunday at Mesnes Park, Wigan at 9.00am. It is completely free for children and families to take part in (no pets, bikes or scooters allowed). Bring your barcode with you and make sure to get it scanned at the end by one of the volunteers to determine your finish time! Remember to sign up to the Wood Fold Primary School running club on the park run website/app to track your running time every time you attend and to compare it with other children in the school. See you all there this Sunday!

Just Join In

Yesterday, some of our Year 3 and 4 children visited Wigan Youth Zone to take part in a just join event. The children too part in dance sessions, tag rugby and kinball, which were delivered by companies and organisations in the Wigan area. The children had an absolute blast at the event, and all came back to school full of happy smiles!

Football Match

Yesterday after school, some of our Year 5 and 6 children took part in a friendly football match against Wood Field. The team passed the ball well amongst themselves and created lots of fantastic chances at goal. Although the team were defeated, they never once let their heads drop and battled hard until the very end. Wood Field awarded Matthew (Y6) with the player of the match award for his accurate passing and movement on and off the ball.
