27/03/26 RT

Date: 27th Mar 2026 @ 3:53pm

We started the week with a lovely forest trip! The children explored the woods, caught tadpoles from the pond, and made fantastic forest crowns using natural materials.

In Drawing Club, we read The Enormous Turnip and the children came up with their own imaginative ideas for how to pull the giant turnip out of the ground.

In math's, we explored 3D shapes — finding the 2D shapes within them, testing which ones roll, and spotting them around the environment.

In art, we looked at Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers and began creating our own sunflower collages, practising tearing and cutting skills.

In PSHE, we talked about sharing and started a class Sharing Jar to celebrate kind and helpful moments.

Have a lovely weekend!
