This week has been full of exciting learning across all our subjects!

Maths
We’ve been developing our number sense by comparing and ordering numbers in both ascending and descending order. We also practised estimating numbers on a number line and revisited Roman numerals. To improve our speed and accuracy, we’ve continued to focus on our times tables for rapid recall.

English
In English, we explored the character of Dodgy Dave by answering reading questions and using evidence from the text to describe his personality. We worked hard to back up our ideas with clues from the story.

Science
Our science focus was on dental health. We discussed how to keep our teeth healthy and made predictions for our egg experiment, where we are testing how different drinks and liquids might affect teeth over time.

Geography
We learned about the journey of cocoa—from how it’s grown in Ghana to how it ends up in factories around the world. It was fascinating to explore the steps involved in food production.

PD (Personal Development)
In PD, we looked at democracy and had thoughtful discussions around its pros and cons, learning how decisions can be made fairly in a society.

Homework
This week’s homework includes a Carousel quiz, spelling practice, and lots of times tables revision to keep building our speed and accuracy.

Have a lovely weekend!
