It was lovely to welcome the children back into school and hear all about their fun Easter adventures. We are reading ‘Yucky Worm’ in English and the children have been fascinated to learn facts about worms. We also read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and have began to learn about the lifecycle of a butterfly. We introduced the artist Lucy Arnold who is inspired by nature and has painted lots of insects and butterflies.

In Maths we have started to explore numbers beyond 10. The children enjoyed playing a counting game up to 13.

We have been enjoying the sunny weather and the children have spent lots of time exploring outdoors. They even went on nature walk with Mrs Johns in RE to find out about the natural environment.
