Football Game

Yesterday, some of our Year 5 and 6 boys played in a local friendly match against St Joseph’s Wrightington at Standish Leisure Centre. The event was a fantastic occasion for some of our Year 6 boys with representing Wood Fold and gaining experience competing against other schools. Despite the cold, blustery conditions, the boys battled hard and worked well as a team to keep possession of the ball. Player of the match (who was nominated by St Josephs) went to Oliver (Y6G) for his skilful dribbling and powerful shots at goal.
