We had fun in the forest on Monday, pretending to be butterflies and creating nature art with found materials.

 

In English the children sequenced and retold the story ‘Whatever Next’ by Jill Murphy where Baby Bear dreams of going to the moon. They have blown me away with some fantastic writing, trying hard to include the main parts of the story.

 

In PE Mr Carr introduced the Sports Day events and the children practised each event. In music the children played a song on the glockenspiels.

 

In Maths, we have been continued to explore shape pictures. The children have enjoyed making tangram pictures in provision and have extended their learning to include other resources, making models and pictures by joining cubes, number shapes and Lego too.

 

We completed our running challenge for the Rainbow Ward this week, running a kilometre every day with our final run wearing our tie-dye t-shirts. I think you’ll agree they all look amazing!
