It has been another exciting week in Year 2!

In Science, we have been learning about the human life cycle and the different stages that we go through. We also found out what people can do at each stage of the life cycle.

In History, we have been looking at Queen Elizabeth’s childhood and what she enjoyed doing as a child. We have learnt that what she did in her early life helped her in her role as the Queen. 

In DT, we have drawn a bag and labelled the parts. We then started to practice our running stitch using a threading card. We are looking forward to sewing on binca next week.  

In Maths, we have been estimating numbers on a number line and comparing objects. We have also been busy practising our two times table.

This afternoon in the forest, we had a great time exploring again and building dens. We also used conkers to create a conker wreath.

Homework this week is on carousel, and it is a Science task for you to complete.
