This week we have continued talking about our families. The children enjoyed talking about the different members of their own family. We focused on our grandparents and discussed that our grandparents are our parents’ parents!

In Drawing Club we read ‘The Everywhere Bear’ by Julia Donaldson and the children are excited to be bringing our own class bear home starting from this week and we look forward to seeing what they get up to over the weekend on Tapestry.

In Maths we have been matching and sorting. We have identified matching sets and have sorted buttons in different ways.

We have introduced the sounds /n/, /o/and /p/ which we have used to build and read words.

The children have been very busy all week and we hope they have a lovely rest over the weekend.
