This week we have been learning about Diwali. We have explored different customs and made diya lamps and other decorations.

In Drawing club, we read The three little pigs. It has been great seeing the children use their phonics skills to write cvc words such as 'big' and 'pig'.  In Maths, we have continued learning about numbers one, two, and three. We have been representing these numbers and singing number songs to help us learn one more and less of each. 

We had an exciting PE lesson learning to climb safely on the large equipment.

We watched Mrs Grimshaw light a fire in the fire pit at the forest and enjoyed eating toasted marshmallows or apple slices.

We ended the week with a party in the hall to celebrate filling our pompom jar. A reward we have worked towards together.
