Year 5/6 Girls Football Competition
On Monday this week, our Year 5 and 6 girls football team competed in the Premier League Primary Stars Football Competition, which was held at William Fosters in Ince. 32 schools from across Wigan were involved and our girls managed to reach the last 16, winning their group. The girls played some fantastic football showing great team spirit and determination throughout. Player of the tournament goes to Maisie (Y5) for her leadership and teamwork throughout the tournament. We are very proud of all of the girl’s efforts. Well done Wood Fold!
