Well what a wonderful last week we have had in year 5!

We finished our year 5 journey by completing our maths unit on volume and capacity. 

In science, we have looked for patterns in the gestation periods of animals and found that the smaller the animal, the shorter the gestation period (except for elephants who are pregnant for a whopping 640 days but a blue whale is only pregnant for between 300-365 days!)

In PSHE, we completed our unit on financial capability by looking at the advantages and disadvantages of online banking. 

It has been a pleasure to teach Y5D this year and see them grow in confidence. They should be very proud of the progress they have made - and I can't wait to see what they achieve in year 6!
