What an unforgettable year it has been.

I can't quite believe that today is our last day together. It only feels like yesterday that the children first walked through the classroom door, and now they are leaving Reception as confident, independent and capable learners, ready for their next adventure.

I am so proud of every single child and all that they have achieved this year. We have shared so many special moments, from their first successes in phonics, reading and writing to the friendships, laughter and memories that have made every day so special. It has been a privilege to watch them grow, learn and flourish.

As many of you know, I will also be leaving, which makes today even more emotional. I have loved teaching this wonderful class and getting to know each child and their family. They have brought so much joy to every day, and I will miss them all very much.

Although I am sad to say goodbye, I know they are ready for Year 1 and all the exciting opportunities ahead. I wish every child happiness, success and confidence as they continue their journey.

Some days we wish could last forever,
Holding on to every precious memory together.
Though our Reception days are through,
A piece of my heart will stay with you. 

Have a lovely summer. Thank you for sharing your amazing children with me this year. I will miss them all very much.
