Y3/4 Tag-Rugby Festival

Today, some of our Year 3 and 4 children represented Wood Fold in a tag rugby event, which was held at Robin Park in Wigan. In the morning, the children took part in a variety of different skill-based activities, which included passing, scoring a try and defending an area.

In the afternoon, the children competed against other schools in the local area in small-sided games. Despite the very hot conditions, the children performed fantastically well, scoring lots of tries and making lots of tackles. The player of the tournament goes to Molly (Y4) for her wonderful creativity, leadership on the pitch and try scoring. Overall, the children had a fun and engaging day out. Definitely one to remember!
