This week in Year 4, we have been very busy with our learning.
In English, we analysed the character of Pentheus and used evidence from the text to support our ideas, as well as studying Bran and how he presents himself as a strong, brave warrior who is proud of his tribe.
In maths, we practised ordering decimals in ascending and descending order, rounding decimals to the nearest whole number, and finding ½, ¼ and ¾ as decimals.
In history, we compared the similarities and differences between the Celts and the Romans, while in science we answered an enquiry question focused on the positive and negative impacts humans have on the environment.
In DT, we began our new topic on pizza making, identifying different types of rising and non-rising dough and the products made from them.
We also really enjoyed our gladiator comprehension lessons, showed great effort with our times tables practice on Monday, and had lots of fun tying knots during our forest session on Thursday.
Homework this week is TT Rockstars practice, spellings and a Geography carousel, all due in by Wednesday. Have a lovely weekend!
