This week in Drawing Club, we explored the traditional tale 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The children absolutely loved diving into the story! They drew some fantastic giants and let their imaginations run wild as they created new plants that could grow from a magic bean.
In maths, we continued to build our understanding of the numbers 9 and 10. The children have been busy exploring different ways to make 10 and have shown lots of confidence and enthusiasm in their learning.
We started the week at the forest where the children planted wildflower seeds. First we cleared the ground, before sprinkling the seeds on the ground, covering them with soil and watering them - we can’t wait to watch them grow! The children looked carefully for signs of spring, spotting buds, new leaves, birds and tiny shoots peeking through the soil.
We have been very busy practising our Mother's Day assembly, and what a beautiful performance they gave today! A huge well done to all the children for their effort and bravery.
Have a lovely weekend
