We have had another busy but exciting week in Year 2. The children have all worked extremely hard and produced some lovely pieces of work!
This week, we have been finding out more about the Royal Family. We have been exploring the relationships between Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles and have also found out who is next in line to the throne.
In DT, we have been investigating how bags are joined together. We found out that they can be joined together in different ways such as sewing and stapling.
In Science, we found out what the term offspring means and what the names for baby animals are called.
We have also read more of our Paddington story and we have found out what he has been getting up to in London with Mr Gruber. Paddington was lucky enough to have his photograph taken inside the Palace gates.
This afternoon, we have been to the forest to explore the outdoor environment and we had a great time!
Homework this week is a learning postcard, times tables quiz and spellings. Please can they be returned to school by Wednesday 17th September.
