What a week!
The children thoroughly enjoyed their transition days to Year 4! Miss Kelly was very impressed with the amazing learning attitudes and kindness of our class. She was wowed by their behaviour and the hard work they put into all of their tasks.
On Tuesday, it was also our school disco! The children had lots of fun dancing with their friends!
On Wednesday, we had two very special visitors from Daffodils Dreams 🌼 in the classroom to tell us about their charity. The ladies were so impressed with the children's respect and the questions they had. This is the charity that we will be supporting as part of our community project. Please see the poster below about the raffle that we will be hosting next week. If you have an unopened, unwanted items that could be used as prizes or would like to donate any prizes to the raffle, please send the, in on Monday or Tuesday.
In Science, the children have learned about shadows. In this glorious weather, we set up an experiment to find out if and how a shadow changes throughout the day. The loved seeing how the shadow moved around a fixed point and the different lengths of the shadows.
With the a,axing efforts of the class this week, I was thrilled to awarded the entire class with Star of the Week! I have been amazed with the continued hard work in a very busy week when it has been so hot! You all deserve a huge Well Done!
