We have been very proud of the children this week. They enjoyed their transition days and their new teachers were impressed with how well they settled. During the transition days, the children read 'Not a Stick' by Antoinette Portis and impressed Miss Prescott with their creative ideas for their own sticks, which they drew and described. 

 

In PSHE we have been thinking about ways we can keep our bodies healthy, including washing our hands, exercising and being safe in the sun.

 

The children who attended the school disco on Tuesday had lots of fun dancing!

 

In our art lessons, we began creating African sunset pictures. We completed our backgrounds and will be adding animal silhouettes next week.

 

We have taken advantage of the sunny weather to have lots of fun in the water areas outside! We finished the week off by playing the musical instruments we made last week and dancing under the trees in the shade – I’m sure you will enjoy listening to them over the weekend!
