This week in Year 4, we have continued to work hard despite the very warm weather!
In English, we explored The Journey to the Crow’s Nest, analysing the children’s adventure and discussing the challenges and experiences they faced along the way. In Maths, we continued our work on coordinates and successfully finished the topic.
In Geography, we investigated the sequence of a volcanic eruption, looked at the different types of volcanoes, explored the Ring of Fire, and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of living near a volcano.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their two transition days and loved getting a feel for what life will be like in Year 5. We are incredibly proud of how hard they have worked and how maturely they have approached the week. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine! ☀️
