We have had a brilliant week in Year 3 this week. 

In Maths, we started our money unit. The children had a refresher on pounds and pence and then we converted from pence to pound and had a go with adding amounts of money. 

In English, we continued to read 'Secrets of a Sunking'. Lil and Pepe have finally returned the jar to Tutankhamun's tomb. The children have planned a recount, which they will be writing next week. 

In Computing, we put together a template of a magazine cover. We considered the positioning of the title, pictures and text. 

In Art, the children did some research on hieroglyphics and had a go of drawing some of the pictures and symbols to create words. 

In Forest School, the children explored the wildlife, climbed trees, looked for froglets in the pond and had a go at some knots.
