We have certainly been blessed with sunshine for the final week of the Spring term. We have continued to observe our plants this week. Our cress all grew and some of our runner beans are beginning to peep through the soil too.
In Drawing Club, we read ‘The Enormous Turnip’. The children enjoyed joining in with the repeating phrases of the story and showed great imagination during when creating their own adventures inspired by the story.
In Maths, we have finished our 3D shape topic and have been looking at patterns. We have noticed patterns in the environment; created our own repeating patterns with actions and objects. We looked at different patterns on wrapping paper and designed a patterned wrapper for an Easter Egg.
We have had fun learning about each other’s Easter traditions and created lots of Easter crafts. We enjoyed making Easter nest cakes which we took to the forest to enjoy as part of our Easter egg hunt and picnic.
Have a lovely Easter break! 😊
