We have had a lovely week in the sunshine. We have continued to learn about worms and have started to write facts about them. In art, we have looked closely at pictures of butterflies. The children used a mirror to complete drawing the second half of a butterfly, they then drew a bigger version in their sketchbook which they painted and printed.

In Maths, we have continue learning about number from 10 – 20. The children matched different representations to the correct numeral and enjoyed playing the missing number game.

We took advantage of the warm weather and spent lots of time playing outside in the water area. The children showed lots of ingenuity making water travel in different ways.

The children had lots of fun in the forest this week ‘worm charming’ and learned if you pour water on the ground some worms may come to the surface.
