About our school
Wood Fold is a popular school located in the historic village of Standish.
Over the years we have earned an excellent reputation and enjoy strong links with the local community. We are very proud of all the children in our school and of their achievements, both in and beyond the classroom. At Wood Fold there is something for everyone, whether you are a child, parent, teacher or governor. If you are a prospective parent and your child is now ready to begin their Primary education, the following seven years are probably the most valuable. In recognition of this, the team at Wood Fold is committed to nurturing their curriculum and experiential learning. Having undergone an Ofsted inspection in October 2008, Wood Fold school was officially judged to be ‘Outstanding’. An accreditation of which we are immensely proud.
